Life along the Nile

Rivers are magical places that create and nurture life on its banks. The Nile is one of the longest rivers in the world, starting from its source at Lake Victoria, Tanzania it crosses eleven countries and it passes Egypt before it flows into the Mediterranean Sea.

I went on a 6 day trip with ship along the Nile in Egypt – starting from Luxor and finishing at Aswan. Nothing can prepare the traveler for the vast landscapes, the deep blue sky, the golden sunsets and pink sunrises and the constant flow of people and animals along the Nile’s banks.
